    Re: C360i

I've installed one with user authentification and is working fine, except for one person who wanted secure print.
Using this function machine freezes after printing one or two stored jobs.
    Using ID&print machine works fine.
Will try again after FW update.

Also, found many bugs through different menus in basic mode.
Strangest one is that machine won't copy in basic mode but when you switch to classic it will.
Restarting the machine usually solve the issue.

In total everything that can be solved with FW update.

      Re: C360i

Hi all, I installed our first C300i but needed to perform a initialization/all data clear shortly after due to a failed application embed of Billback.

On reboot and as to be expected, CD010 appeared. Have read the manual and know the HDD/SSD just needs to be set but the problem I now have is that I cannot access service mode to re-enable the SSD/HDD. There is no longer a hard Utility key which now resides under the touch "home" key which does absolutely nothing when pressed so do not have access to enter service mode. Never has such an issue with predecessor models.

Anyone ever had such an issue?

FW updated to version 45, tried rolling back but to 3B to no avail. Tried opening side and front doors to gain access to home and service mode but am still locked out....

      Thanks

There are two hard buttons behind a small pop off panel on the top rear part of the ops panel.
They are the ones you need to access to go into service mode via the back door.

Thanks tech51, those are the fw initiate and trouble reset buttons - do you press both together whilst booting to enter via the back door?

Thanks tech51, managed to figure out. Just enter service mode from trouble reset (bottom button) via the usual stop zero sequence. Sorted. Thanks for the help. Accessing service from the trouble reset screen is the back door to the service mode when the utility key is not accessible....

In utility> Accessibility> Sounds you can turn off the beeps.

But I still don't understand why it does so many. I thought about the presence of paper in the output tray but it does so even without it.

Finally I have one in our office.
Many mysteries will be revealed, I like to keep them nice and tidy

Check this TABT1900745EN and see if this is the symptom.

I did a little research and there are just so many sounds on this model and all are defaulted to ON.

I guess one of my first best practices on this will be to shut down ALL f...... beeps.

I'm still trying to find out exatly when/why the MFP beeps.
                              Update:
It seems to make 2 beeps every minute in ready mode.

On previous models we can get the test print as below steps:

                                utility->user setting->printer setting->print report->demo page

However the i series can't find it.......

                                How about the procedure?
