So does it jam? What jam code?
Does it error out? What error?
I think we'll need just a little more than that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
did you run the fuser drive motor and clutch. bad clutch will do this. had a new c458 do this. also there is a bd just above the mfp on the right called excb that could be bad
On the door that swings open, there is a push arm that goes thru the frame of copier on rear side just below the fuser. This arm pushes on a spring loaded lever behind frame.
We have had a couple of machines where that lever was broken and/or popped out of place. causing this issue. Worth a look. It is part of the fuser drive pack.
You have to get the door open all the way and look in little square hole. Take a pen and see if that lever inside works. Oh yeah you have to bend down and look in!
My vote is for CL8 or PS3. In one case both. =^..^=
