I can't access user settings or system settings. Checked the marketing area and it's set to European.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

utility, #2 user settings, #1 system settings, #1 should be language settings if you can get there.
also in system 1 in service mode make sure your marketing area is set correctly.Leave a comment:

its supposed to reboot 3 times after using the reset tool, usually twice in JP then EN with the restore now.
can you exit from that screen without hitting restore now? just curious.Leave a comment:

machine language has changed to Japanese ... So I'm unable to identify back/restore memory data or set ADF to (624 or 701).Leave a comment:

ok, at least its not asking for movie data!
in service hit stop 0 clear i think there is a place to backup/restore memory data
also while in service make sure the ADF is set to the correct type (624 or 701) in system 2 i think?

serial numbers are in the correct place but HDD is set to uninstalled because HDD is set to installed, HDD errors pop up... so I set it to uninstalled.Leave a comment:

5.4.10 SSD board (SSDB)
NOTE
• Never use the combination of the used SSD board removed from another machine and the original MFP board. This combination
causes corruption of stored data.
Note that the combination of the original SSD board and the used MFP board removed from another machine also causes the same problem.
• Do not replace the printer control board and the SSD board with new ones at the same time. The backup data is lost and image
failure may be caused.
• Do not replace the MFP board and the SSD board with new ones at the same time
if you hold down panel reset and boot up can you get to trouble reset mode?
while holding down the button it should beep with a black dot on the screen. you can let go and wait and see if trouble reset comes up.
you should be able to access service mode with the normal stop,0,0stop,0,1 from that screen.
also it usually wont hurt to hit trouble reset before entering service mode.Leave a comment:

i think you have to format the ssd.
when the mismatched ssd was installed i think it brainfarted something so when the original ssd was reinstalled it had a fit.
unless i misunderstood your procedures?Leave a comment:

After changing the battery, I followed the instructions below and I got stuck at number 9.
Solution
CAUSE: Issue will occur after turning off the machine for a while specially after the weekend.
SOLUTION:
1. Have a new, unused SSDB, but do not install it yet.
2. Order a new MFP Board
3. Flash the MFPB with the Reset Tool 3 Times total with the old SSD Board.
4. Once the 3rd flash of the MFPB says complete, turn off the MFP (DO NOT REBOOT).
5. Install the new SSDB.
6. Insert firmware stick with (latest base firmware) and turn the MFP on.
7. When the firmware screen comes up check/correct Machine and Type, then flash firmware.
8. After firmware has loaded, turn on the MFP normally.
9. You may or may not get a CD390, Allow the MFP to perform it's recovery process if the CD390
occurs.
10.When the machine comes up, it should behave like a brand new machine again and will need serial
number entered.
11. In some cases, the entire install process may need to be done (security lines might occur.)
12.Install the preventive firmware GHVM1Leave a comment:
