I would enable the HDD if the machine comes to ready use the Preventive firmware A7PU0Y0-F000-GXX-B0.

Then perform a long test of large scan batches & also send print & copy jobs, basically work the HDD hard if the error doesn't return you should be OK.

      Re: Bizhub C308 C368 error code C-D011

Hello, I'm running into this same error code C-D011 occasionally on a C308, and the rest of the time it refuses to print, scan or even open the settings interface, while showing the "Preparing Scan User Box" message.

It looks like from this thread and TAGB1600274EN that I should try updating the SATA firmware to A7PU0Y0-F000-GXX-B0, as well as A7PU0Y0-F000-G00-X4

Can anyone who already solved this problem help me get those updates? Thanks!

In addition to the firmware, there is a document with the steps to be followed. Probable errors and how to proceed with them.

If you're not a technician, I suggest you find one. If it is, it should already have.

We are curious about you. New user and 02 single posts asking for firmware.

Have you already replaced the HD? Disable and restart. How does she behave?

A lot of new techs/end users do not realize that firmware and other manuals/tech pubs are restricted to TECH USE ONLY.
Techs can lose their tech ID# for passing out such info.
In extreme cases their dealership can lose their ability to sell/service said brand.
That is why I refuse to pass out those items.
END USERS SHOULD -= NEVER =- have those items.

Being an end user you should hire a TRAINED TECH.

Well, I'm the best we have for a technician, as the only tech support guy for a small non-profit . Maybe you know the kind of place - they don't really have budget for anything, so I'm the resource for "everything that plugs into the wall", heh. I'm technically competent, and have maintained printers, but definitely not nearly as skilled in this area as y'all here, so I was hoping for some assistance with the pieces I can't get a hold of.

Appreciate the concern for whether I'll know what to do with the firmware. I did read the above referenced technical document describing the errors I'm seeing, and outlining the steps to take to remediate. But anyway I didn't replace the HD, I was thinking to try that after updating the firmware.

I have the same problem in one of my C308's. I've downloaded mass production firmware, that should (in theory) correct this problem, but it didn't - perhaps because D011 code appeared a few times before.
That said - i've downloaded from infohub that GXX-A8 firmware, that should correct the mistake, but i'm unable to upload it into machine. The procedure described in bulletin says, that uploading this firmware is no different, than any other firmware (plug usb, press stop, power up the system), but every time i try, the machine keeps booting to user mode. And i've tried like 6 or 7 different pendrives, also checked that at least few of those pendrives are able to upload firmware to this C308 and a few others. What am i doing wrong?

Try uploading the F/W with the front door of the machine open.

Also note that you need to HOLD the stop button pressed for a couple sconds until you see the black dot
