Try another USB stick & a fresh copy of the firmware. A stick no larger than 2GB

If not try the NVRam firmware.

there is an error in the files.... did you follow copier techs recommendation as to get a fresh copy of the firmware?

what version are you trying to use?

Are you unzipping to the thumb drive?

2gb FAT32 should be clean before moving files to it

The firmware gives a scanner error. I called 4 firmware with several different usb Again, it's freezing, and the device's scanner doesn't move at all, and the device hangs on the Konica logo What is the scan board? It does not download the frinware, but the firmware downloads adf.

Delete any other files ending in the ".tar" extension. Only one firmware file can be in the root of the USB thumb drive when flashing the machine.

i wonder on his procedure,,,, he is rather vague in his explanation of it.

We still don't know what is the main cause machine to stuck at boot up. Maybe another problem is present and FW failed to update is consequence.

The mfp problem was fixed by replacing this part
But it was very strange why the scanner firmware downloaded n .g

the mfp may have fixed it but were you using the c552ds firmware or the c552 they are different
