You need to go through the "setup procedure" on the copier to eliminate the colored lines. It needs to be done exactly listed in the manual, or it will not work.
You should be able to find the procedure in the service manual if I remember correctly. I don't have access to the manual at the moment, and the Konica website is still down, so I can't help you out there.

Normally I'd throw the RED CARD but I have been chewed out for such actions .
This happens due to device not runup properly. Press Stop>1>1>4>4>Clear on service mode and change the time/time zone and make sure to press apply at the bottom of the screen to fix this issue.
