    C2070 EF103 question?

what would make a EF-103 trigger a WRONG fuser code. C-3201 (1070 Fuser installed).

where is the paper work that shows what's difference between the 3 fusers...
set the DIPSW to auto detect.

    Firmware?

    Re: C2070 EF103 question?

So it is the wrong fuser ... or its falsely detecting wrong fuser?

Documentation says that the EF103 is compatible in a C2070. =^..^=

EDIT: Nothing in the DIPSW List or or the service manual about specific setup. In addition the users guide for the EF103 does not indicate a settings change to use the fuser (see attached):

Nope, it's 6MB .. too big to attach. Ask if you want it. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Try swapping the temp control harness (goes from the back of the upper connector to the upper thermistor connections. One is white, the other is blue) from the regular fuser to the EF-103 and see if it shows up as a regular fuser without error.
