C3350i - Fax Reports

hi guys,

got a weird one, we have a Konica C3350i that will not use the settings we have set for faxing,

faxing works fine but when we set it to print a report when a fax has been sent:

1. it prints on tray 1 even though we set the setting to come from tray 2 (has extra tray on it), also tried to set it to auto and deselect tray 1 as an auto tray.
2. it doesn't print an image on the report with whats been sent as a fax, we have made sure in service mode the fax setting is set to WITH IMAGE in the list output settings.

when they receive a fax it does print from tray 2 (want it to come from tray 2 as tray 1 is a letterhead tray)

we have updated the machines firmware to latest and also initialized fax settings in service mode

any ideas?

to print the fax in the tray you want, you must select in which tray the reports are printed, such as the test page, the network configuration sheet, etc., it will print the faxes in that tray.
Regarding the fax image, I attach the explanatory document.

Anyway, you can program the machine so that the report does not print it, but forwards it by mail, smb, ftp, etc...

As elmaligno stated, go into Admin Settings and change the drawer that reports print from. In the larger copiers it's in Admin Settings -> System Settings -> Output Settings -> Output Tray Settings -> Print Reports. Change the tray for reports to tray 2. I'm assuming the C3350i would be the same, but may vary slightly. I don't currently have one that I can look at.
