    [Misc] Bizhub c458 CE Password reset

    Got few machines, lease returned I beleive. Some of them have CE passord set. Unfortunately don't have rest tool for xx8 series. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Have you tried all the usual passwords, "92729272", "9272927292729272", "12345678", "1234567812345678" "00000000"

      If the suggestion from copyman doesn't work, check through the posts in this thread. There is a way to reset the password without resetting the whole machine...


      A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
      My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

          Already saw that post, but its about xx4 series. Somebody told me about a door cheat....anyone knows anout it.

            its ok, jotunn will still see it in that thread and help you out.
            just post the serial, MAC and code for him.
            We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
            The medication helps though...

              You can disable the CE password or change it, in service mode. Enter service mode( stop,0,0,stop,0,1). Then enter stop, 0,C

                Just curious did you call the previous service provider?? I went to a location a while back.. I ended up calling the number on the sticker of the previous service provider. They gave me the the code once I explained who I was . But you can try this one. I thought it was simple/unique
