ERROR "Work ram overflow" when printing almost any file on bizhub c454e

    Hello
I have a printer, Konika minolta bizhub C454e with 230.000 copies.

I am getting this error "Work RAM overflow" when printing almost any file. Pdf's about 5 mb or more trigger this error.

I have an old bizhub c220 and I never had this error. It prints 100 mb files without problems.

I have tried to format the HDD in service mode. It don't work. The ram overflow error happen when printing on usb and Network

    Where is the fault?
What should I pay attention to?

      Hello
      Thanks for the answer

Exactly what type of diagnosis? Can you recommend which option to select in the service mode?

          did the hdd format ok?
choose spool print jobs to HDD in admin mode.
some pdfs have so many layers the copier cannot flatten them ive seen.
have you tried sending it once in black only? just to see if its the amount of data it needs to rip overflows the ram?
i have an extra UK-211 expanded memory i could send. which side of the great pond is your mailing address?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

I'd start by updating the firmware & check / update the driver.

I would swap HDD if you can't format it.
Those are already old and HDD isn't exactly the robust part of the machine. You will need movie/animation data after that but machine should work with that warning.

I'd also check driver (don't use generic/class drivers, get the original PCL6 driver from KM website) and port (use tcp/ip port) settings first and only use acrobat reader for pdf printing.

I have solved the problem. Now it works ok.

On service mode --- System2 -- HDD -- Marked as Installed

                    Thank you for all

How did you format the HDD if it didn't know one was installed?
