    Konica 458 Toner bottle not turning in test mode.

    I just began troubleshooting this but did find that the toner bottle is not turning to add toner in the test mode. I had the toner deleted error i reset. In forums some said it was the Developer or Drum although this bottle should turn in the Test mode. The machine cycles and then once in a while the sub hopper motor turns which makes a clicking noise so I may have more than one problem. Just asking all what anyone has found to be the problem you have found when your toner bottle does not turn in Test Mode -Add Toner. I am going to search the manual also but wanted to know what anyone's known first problem is. Thank You

    The bottle won't turn if it thinks sub hopper is full in toner add. May be bad sub hopper . What is the toner ratio under state confirm

      Yes the ratio in state confirmation is low. Like 1.7 had no idea the bottle would not turn if sub hopper was not working. There is a clicking coming from it. But you have seen the toner bottle not move in test mode? That's a great help if you have seen this. Let me know and Thank You.

        I also have a machine that is having an error of not rotating the toner cartridge when Manual add toner. I have replaced the new toner cartridge and cleaned the Hopper, toner empty sensor,Replaced Toner cartridge moto K/ (M25) but the situation is unchanged. TCR ratio low.
        Maybe you need to replace the control board for Toner cartridge moto K/ (M25)

              Hello.

              Try this:
              1. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
              2. Call the Enhanced Security to the screen.(Stop -> 0 (Zero) -> C (Clear) )
              3. Touch [Engine FW DipSW].
              4. The switch corresponding to the colors to be reset is highlighted (ON state) in reverse video.
              34:K
              5. Touch [END].
              6. Turn OFF and ON the main power switch.

                My original problem ended up being that sub hopper, I replaced it and the toner spun. There is also a piece of plastic that can fall off the agitator in the hopper and keep the plastic toner height sensor from actuating I have seen in the past. Glad everyone got running also eventually. Thanks for the help
