    Yellow streaks. minolta C258

The customer was complaining about yellow streaks.
We have changed the yellow drum for a compatible one, and random stripes continue to appear on different pages.

Any possible solution? Is the drum bad?

Why do compatible drums work so poorly on series 8 machines?
    Thank you so much

Looks like a similar distance to the charge roller, did you replace it when you replaced the drum?

looks like charge roller has a flat spot to me. swap it with magenta, see if it follows drum or stays with DV unit.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

        Easy 😄

The drum unit was completely replaced with a compatible one.
We are awaiting the exchange for an original one. What seemed strange to me is that both the one we removed and the compatible one gave the same type of error.

          Thanks

have you tried the drum in another color slot? kinda an important question.

Why not try the suggestion by Synthohol. That is some great free advice. If you would of tried swapping drums btween colors to see it was a defective aftermarket drum you wouldn't of needed to even post here.

Basically because I'm not in the client.
The customer complains about scratches, we go and change the drum unit, the machine works perfectly, a day later the customer complains about the same problem again.
I ask on the forum to get help on other possible causes of the failure.
We have returned to the customer with an original drum unit, so far, 7 days of perfect work.
                Thank you all

                  Hello
2 weeks later the customer reported again that the problem had reappeared, with a new original drum.
We have reconnected the all laser connectors and the data bus. The machine works perfectly again. I cross my fingers every day

                  thanks
