    C250i gradation doesn’t work

I currently have a problem with a c250i. This had a magenta stripe on the prints. So I replaced the drum. Before I did a gradation, I made a test print to see if the problem was resolved. However, this one had a strong magenta background.

The first thing I did in the service menu was stabilization. After that I selected A3 and the printer 600dpi. Unfortunately I have the problem that the start button is not active. That tells me so much that the stabilization didn't work. When I removed the developer unit, I noticed that the entire starter had now been pulled out. I will have to swap the developer unit. However, there is a problem that the gradation cannot be carried out. Unfortunately I can't get a solution. Do you have an idea how to fix it?

Find the root problem namely why M developer is pulled. Obviously stabilization can't finish properly with missing developer then you can't run gradations.

How can I find the reason for the developer pulling? The problem only started after replacing the M drum (original). After about 10 prints the developer was almost empty.

        Hello,

Check if there are any errors displayed in service mode: If there is an error, an icon will appear in the top left corner. Touch the icon to display the error message.
Check the "TCR" and "Vdc" values for each colour.
        TCR should be around 6
        Vdc should be around 400
Also check the ServiceCallHistory and DetailCodeHostory.

        Good luck with this!

Yesterday i checked the machine again.
              The displayed errors are:
              P5 IDC Sensor (Front)
              P7 Drum /Development unit (M)
              P-21 Color Regist Test Pattern

The TCR C/Y/K are between 5,95-6,51. TCR M is at 7,29%
              IDC 1 2,73 V
              IDC 2 - 0,82V <---- I think this is the problem!

All the sensors an contacts are clean.

Did you put brand new OEM magenta development unit or just topped up old with developer powder?

It was a brand new original magenta dev unit and the dev powder was pulled out again.
I also changed the transferunit, fuserunit (from an other machine) and did an firmwareupdate - the same result.
Now I order the idc2 and will change it.

I had a brand new A3 i-series depleting developer like this and KM couldn't figure it out , even after replacing multiple dev units and drums. even replaced hv board and harness. KM ended up sending us a new machine.
