    C3350i - sleep mode -fan

    Hello
The problem is that in sleep mode, the printer turns on the fan from time to time. This only happens when the network is connected. I connected the printer to the network via LAN(rj45) or wifi router AP.
The printer connected via a USB port or router (openwrt)- print server, behaves correctly and is silent.

I only set options in the admin menu. Where are these settings you are writing about? I did not enter the service menu. Can you tell me what to set?

also, im suprised a konica seems to go into and out of sleep mode like it should. probably some netbios signal from the router wakes it up breifly.
id just disable sleep mode altogether except yours actually seems to work!

The printer does not wake up from sleep mode. During sleep, it turns on a fan from time to time, but only when it is connected to the network and not via USB

When it is in sleep, the fan turning on does not wake it up. Waking up works normally as it should

I think it was discussed here but I don't see a solution

try no power in sleep mode? disable power savings fax?
not 100% sure which because i always disabled sleep mode and only maxed low power every machine, every time.

If I have (power consumption in sleep mode ) - disabled , it is not true sleep mode. If I select enabled or high, a fan turns on(turns on for about 10 seconds and turns off for about 35 seconds). True sleep mode has 0W and when the fan turns on for a moment, it is about 20W. This problem will be related to the network environment because via USB it is ok

If it is in sleep mode, the Lan LEDs are off. The LEDs start blinking and the fan turns on. But the printer does not wake up, only the cooling turns on

I also connected another router to the printer via LAN as AP WIFI and the same thing. Connecting via USB to a computer or router (print server), everything is OK.

now im wondering if when someone on the network opens their printer folder or reboots, windows may be polling the printers for activity and that is what triggers the fan?

I have this printer at home and only I have it installed. This happens even when the computer is turned off. I don't have a disk configured in the printer yet, no one has access to it. Only printing from my computer takes place.

Unfortunately, still the same. Lan diodes turn on, a short click and the fan runs....

I connected another router disconnected from the main network. I connected the printer via LAN and the phone via WiFi.
It works fine here, nothing wakes it up. Only entering the https page of the printer turns on the fan but does not wake it up.

Reconnected to the main network. It receives something from the main network and these packets turn on the cooling system but do not wake it up

It is not known what packets sent through the printer's LAN port only wake up the fan for cooling purposes

It is what it is. Forget about it. Better fan noise than cooked CPU board.

You're right, of course, but the solution is probably close.
I connected to another router outside the network: a phone under WAN (Internet provider), a printer and a laptop. I'm pinging the printer from my laptop. Regular pings do not wake the fan.

In my opinion, this TCP position turns the fan on. The printer sends it
