Fiery USB Setup Tool: Project was not successfully created

Got the latest version of the USB Setup Tool (v2.0.28) from Fiery Communities, but it along with v2.0.21 and v2.0.26 all do the same thing: just say "Project was not successfully created" when trying to make the USB drive.

There's a security pop-up before this to allow the program to continue. Inspecting the certificate failure, it looks like Fiery's code signing expired 7/23/2024:

Could this be why this tool isn't working, or is there something more common I'm missing here?

The fiery is old as hell the usb method sucks.
Use a pc, a lan cable click installer.vbs and follow the on screen instructions.

Can confirm, mounting the ISO on a laptop, running installer.vbs does indeed work for the IC-413 / E100-02.

I am facing the same issue "Project was not successfully created" but i am not able to find installer.vbs in the both ISO files "ic-417_v2.1_system_solution_software_R" and "ic-417_v2.1_user_software_R" So if anyone can help me out please

oh, this fiery is linux based.
an 8g or 16g flash drive is needed and the usb prep tool.
what is the "R" signify? i have 2.0 dvd both with and without it.
use an old windows 7 or xp laptop to build the USB.

Usin 8gb flash drive i am able to get past this error and its create the USB but now when i install this in fiery server with new SSD and with No 1 dip switch to on position its showing 00 on the screen from last 20 minutes.

For the "R" i am not sure this file given to me by other member on this form.

I can send you my email and if you can send the version 2.0 files that would be great and i can try that.

It takes up to 30 minutes or longer for the load to start. With Fiery's you have to be patient . They are slow to start loading and even slower booting up after a load.

I am able to get this installed. The issue was with the USB drive. I changed to different one and its installed without any issues. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help you.

Yes its working now. The difference i saw between the old one and this old version on PSL test page was 2.1_SP2 and this one is simply 2.1, So i am not sure what this SP2 is.
