if YOU turned it off it may not have been done installing.
i avoid the USB method when i can, i use a network cable and run the install from a laptop so you can see the progress and it tells you when to power it off. the usb method will shut down itself when finished.

follow this guide to install from a laptop, you get to see the progress and it tells you what to do.
pay attention to which port to use as per guide. (both switches this time too)
to install command workstation it should be on the user dvd/iso click the master installer and justinstall cws and whatever it requires, dont need the whole package.
once install is complete and fiery has rebooted, open command workstation and click on the plus sign to add server and find your fiery.
click configure server and set your settings.
good luck.
also if you dont have a densitometer how are you going to calibrate the color?
btw, the first IP that pops up is likely 172.24.x.x thats the fiery default IP address. click on it and configure the IP you want to use.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

well you need to verify the fiery is working and configured first before even powering on the copier.
no controller is showing because you may have a boat anchor attached to it until you prove its a functioning fiery.
priorities man.
until you can log onto the fiery through its web page in a browser or command workstation forget about the copier message, its irrelevant right now.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

Sounds like you may have a bad hard drive . You should replace it with a solid state drive of equal size and try loading again.
