when you select admin mode you have 2 choices enter encryption code or format right?
im only suggesting to choose format.
ive had a bunch of lease returns and once thats solved he can move on to the next stage.
yes, Hansoon is a cool dude, ive helped him before
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Ive accidentally bypassed the password screen in the past when i unplugged a fax kit without disabling it first.

so i went into service mode and as it got to password screen it c coded. i think open and close front door and somehow i was in without needing the password.

I don't know if it will help but machines coming from Germany sometimes changed the admin numbers using the serial number of the machine. I don't remember it well but I think it was the last 8 serial numbers

Re: BH-C-284e, rookie question.... Partially solved.

Guys, I got finally from a working machine the HD and all my machines are tested working with that single drive and not giving the encryption error indication anymore. Only problem left are the unknown admins codes but will find that out later on.

Lots of thanks to you all for being with me in this matter. I just made another contribution to support this great panel and its fine members.

Hope you can figure out the origin of these units. I know that some dealers and KM direct marketing do cutomize the password - in most cases the solution is just a phonecall away.

Admin password isn't a problem to change with access to service menu(CE mode).

                Glad you got them going.

You can simply reset the admin password from CE mode.

Just reset NVRAM and apply appropriate FW's and movie data later for admin or service mode passwords. As far as the HHD password just enter 123........ as far it goes and new password will be set.
