Getting into Administraton while C code is active on C554e

We have a machine that has C code right now. Trouble reset doesn't clear it so we want to backup the machine to USB and transfer everything to different machine.

Is there any way to circumvent the limit of Utility menu showing only Device information and Consumable Life buttons. Web page backup is avaliable but Konica we want to backup to is 558e

What C code is it you have? It might be that with the code you've got, an export isn't available anyway

It's c-3102. But I'm asking even generally cause it blocks this if you have for example open doors of the machine.

You should be able to enter service mode but may take a few mins before showing up. Also could leave front door open and enter service mode. Or as last resort hold down yellow reset while turning on and trouble reset for code. You can also enter service mode this way.

Added: Some good advice from Synthohol, I missed you were asking about entering admin mode. Was just thinking about clearing the code.

are you able to access it via web? you can backup the addy book and other settings there.
bit of a pill to edit the xml file with excel but maybe the pagescope data administrator will do the transfer for you?

Yeah, that will be the route we will go through - With Data administrator, but I was wondering if there is an option to get into administrator menu when jam or c code is present.

I'm sorry to say that but Konica Minolta softwares are shite, every time I played with one of them I ended up with a lot of wasted time. Better stay away from them get job done... somehow and move on.

Yeah, we have Data Administrator is crashing on few laptops. But it was invaluable when it was working. 😀
