    bizhub 4050i J92-01

Lightly used almost as new machine, jam only in duplex mode randomly anywhere between few and 50/60 pages. We checked 2 clutches and sensors involved in service test mode and visually, all parts in question as duplex and exit/reverse section inspected and cleaned. Firmware is latest and greatest I suspect anything wrong/warped in exit/reverse section as it can be purchased as whole unit due request from field. Jam is always the same J92-01.
    Anyone seeing this before. TIA

From what i remember i never had any problem (so far) with reverse section or anything about J92-11. Maybe it gives this code but in reality the problem is somewhere else. If i think about jams on C3350i/4050i i always solve by changing the 2 clutches "A7AHM20501" on the paper feed section and/or by doing the modification, suggested by konica years ago, about some cushion (i attach the file with instructions).

Thanks for replying. Those mods are for different paper jams, this one is only on duplex at different location. I know it's not common jam because we had 11-01, 11-02 before and did cushion and parts mod on Sparrows.

            Open the bypass tray.
After that open the duplex tray.
You can see the little piece of plastic in the middle of the vertical paper transport in the duplex.
It is very thin and hard to see plastic mustache, left uncut after mold release.
Cut it with a knife and close the duplex.
            Go to buy beer

If the jam is similar to the photo try changing the CL5.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. Here is one photo from the web. Open that door and check the paper path for any mustache in the middle.

Is what I'm pointing at what you're talking about? If so what what am I cutting it up? Hard to see any other kind of guide in this area that you could be referring to.

No, it is not that I cut. I marked the exact point in your photo.
