No, it's very likely that KM can't and won't provide any solution due to the age of this series (almost a decade passed since the last units has been produced). Soi it's either "sit and wait/hope" or get something newer. Meanwhile you can use scan to folder/USB stick instead.Comment

I ran into this as well on a C284e yesterday. For me it was very intermittent, but would mostly fail with the same error code 107. The customer has a C458 using the same email credentials and it's still working fine. Are the 8 series machines going to have this same issue soon? I have yet to set up a machine using the OAuth 2.0 method, but I predict we will all become familiar with this process soon on machines that support it.Comment

"Although SMTP AUTH is available now, we announced Exchange Online will permanently remove support for Basic authentication with Client Submission (SMTP AUTH) in September 2025."

Hi Guys
here the same problem. Olivetti MF282Plus formerly (bizhub C284e) not sending to O365 from a couple of days. We have a dozen of series 4 that send any more mails to O365. It seams a problem of Series4. Using same account on series 8 or newer works. Till now no solution found.
It only a problem if Basic authentication i used.
Hoping it cames some solution from KM.

If that holds true....that's going to be a major issue...

We had the same problem this week, customers calling that email stopped working with office365
Just this morning we found that it is working again on our local machine.
We contacted some customers who reported the problem and they confirm it is working again!.
Please check with your customers and report the results here.Comment

Got a hint that MS did something chipre related and is considering to reverse it so existing configs will work (at least until sept 2025). You can also try and use one of these IPs for MS SMTP server that might work:
52.97.211.210 / 52.97.146.194 / 52.97.173.18 / 52.97.129.242 / 52.97.146.162 / 52.97.211.226

Enable App Password in Office365 or in Gmail to enable scan to email feature in Konica Minolta Printers. This works and it is tested in Konica Minolta 4 series and 8 series.
Delete the existing self signed certificate and create the new one with RSA-2048_SHA-256
Microsoft Office365
