    C-E301

After upgrading several C250i to the G00-RF version, I get the CE301 fault. It is not a problem of the FW or the USb because it only happens in some of them. I don't know if it is because they have some software installed or something similar. Does anyone know what could be the cause?
    Thanks

Hey Markks, Can you explain about the boot room before updating firmware? I've been updating off lease machines with just latest F/W with no problems. Still have a lot of 8 series out there and just started selling the "i"'s. Thanks

Its explained staring on page 5 of this bulletin. It is recommend to do this before loading any firmware. If it is already up to date it will not cause any harm, it will just give you the message that is it up to date. It is also recommended to update to the latest firmware even if it special. Currently the latest firmware is special firmware GG3-RE released 1/22/25. Also set switch 25 to the up the correct hex value to make it the to highest function level for the firmware. Currently it is function level 2.3 which is switch 25 to hex40.
The setting for sw25 can be found in the read me of the firmware
