Hello everyone, I have the Bizhub 224e multifunction that shows strange malfunctions in the menu. The Scan/Fax and User Box buttons do not open anything, while in Administrator Settings the Network Settings button is missing. Could it be a firmware problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

check to see if the hdd shows installed and its actually working.
IIRC the smaller machines needed the HDD upgrade in order for fax to work at all.
but this week its 2 1/2 years since i touched a copier, but i think its worth checking.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

First of all thanks for your answers. When the error appeared, I unmounted the HDD and tested it from the computer and it was OK, I deleted the partitions and then once reinstalled in the multifunction I formatted it from the menu. At this point I think need to reinstall the firmware, I tried to contact Konica/Minolta but they do not make it available.😐Comment

not the latest but it allows SMB 2.0 with a dip sw and 2 network settings.
i think i have the movie data too, ill look.
set bit SW 219 to hex 0x00and set NTLM to v1/v2. or even 2.0 only if avail.
and sw 25 to 60.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
