I asked before, but lost the answer....

Guys, I asked here before which 2-GB USB-Sticks are recommended by KonicaMInolta for updating the firmware and movie file for the BH-C-284e series, but I lost it and cannot find it with the search function here in the panel. There was a list from KonicaMinolta with advised sticks. Can I have that list once again, please? Thanks!

I can't say I've ever seen a list of approved sticks but you can use larger sizes without issue. It just has to be formatted correctly. The trick is FAT32 with LBA off or make a 4GB partition instead of the entire thing. From my understanding there is an HP format tool that does this on Windows. (https://filehippo.com/download_hp-us...e-format-tool/) The format tool built into Windows will not do what you want and will create a disk that is unusable for a Konica if it's larger than 4Gb.

Currently we use 64Gb ones because they were easy to get from Amazon.

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

This ScanDisk USB is the best choice for uploading firmware on all Konica Minolta printers, supporting all models.

              That should work too.

I've been using Gparted. It's free and works. Just start up the live CD on an old PC, and format a few USB sticks. Then we hand 'em out to our field techs.
