ever had a customer so neglectful that blames your machine for jamming? this was a good one, i unplugged the network until i was done cleaning up things that made holes in my knees.
i put them all in a paper carton lid i taped to the top of the finisher. (blocking them from falling in between)
wrote in the box staples go here, not in the feeder, not on the floor but here. sheesh.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

That's pretty awful. That does not look like a good day at work.

We once had a customer try to save money by using used paper in the LCT. Biggest problem was they weren't taking the staples out before placing the paper into the tray. It would feed the sheet with the staple, and it would come off in the machine causing a jam. Thankfully I was not the tech on that call.
Worked in IT for 12 years from Helpdesk up to System Administrator. Now working as the IT Manager at a copier company for the last 4 years.

If I helped you out, please give me a thumbs up! It helps my reputation.

Often those staples will fall between the machine and the finisher, causing jams where the bridge meets the finisher entrance. There are still a couple of machines out there that I used a self-adhesive mylar to cover that slit.

On the FS-532 finishers, the stapler has a tendency to dump staple trimmings onto the finisher main board. In a couple of the worst cases I would attach magnet sheets above the board to catch the staple trimmings before they shorted out another main PWB.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
