Anything can happen with off lease machines!

Ha-ha, bought a low meter C308 from the off lease wholesaler, bring back to shop to go over and when I turned it on reeked of perfume! Maybe it was in a cheap whore house for the last 5 years

Didn't smell it when at warehouse or wouldn't of bought it, low meter or not! Only did quick test because of low meter.

Any ideas on how to get the smell out? Only thing I can think of is leave it powered on outdoors for a few hours?

Here on this side of the pond, we have a spray called “Febreze”. *
I had to use once in a loaner when it came back. The smell of french fries made me almost puke.

    * For sure you have it too, it's of American origin, and we have it as well because we are an American colony. 😁

Yes we have febreeze here in US. Where did you spray it? I don't see any filters on the 8 series. Probably because these models use PCR which do not create ozone like coronas do.

tape dryer sheets to intake vents for a bit. it helps.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...
