    Good day all

I am in need of assistance from all you clever techs. Firstly the machine firmware is up to date, I checked the waste toner ports and pipes for blockages but found no issues, i also replaced the filter box. Every now and then I have to strip open the yellow and magenta drum units because of a build up in the waste toner section on drum unit then it will start to waste into the machine when it gets to full. Can anyone maybe direct me to possibly the obvious that I'm missing.

Sorry I forgot to mention it happens with a new oem drum as well.

It does sound like there is a blockage in the waste toner system on the back frame of the machine. Did you really disassemble and clean the waste auger system on the back frame, behind the drive unit? If yes, I am impressed!! That's a major, major job.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Good day Sir

Yes I indeed did disassemble the machine and thank you sir. What I can't get my mind to is that there was no blockage in the system. I don't know where to go and look now, there are no noises or anything, no error codes nothing.

on several occasions there was a petrified toner booger on the auger in the circled area.
you should be able to open the shutter and rotate the belt and toner should pour out relatively freely, if not id replace the cleaning unit. its only 125 bucks. https://www.precisionroller.com/a50u..._pn_88114.html

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...

Thank you Synthohol, I have recently replaced the transfer belt with a new cleaning unit. There is one question that is on my mind tho, I'll be returning to the client tomorrow and take a picture of what bothers me and maybe you all can give your input to the matter.

            Good day all

As it states in Mr BlacMcat's profile - master of the obvious, I must say that I've missed the obvious relating to my problem.

So just to let all of you know Mr Blackcat & Mr Synthohol the reason for my waste build up is caused by the gear in the attached photos.

You are all welcome to burn me, for this mistake is surely a stupid overlooked and over thought issue. At least I think I found the issue and will be ordering the gears. I will also post if the problem is resolved for future reference that anybody needs and also did not check the gears before they dig to deep into a machine.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

The gear teeth look okay, at least in the photo. Has it spun on the shaft?

No punishment from me. Kudos for having some humility. That's in short supply here. I'll be looking forward to your posts.

                  Good day

Just an update, I did not let the post die I'm just waiting for the gears to arrive. Yes Blackcat the gear in the photo is fine it's just one that I used to show where the issue may probably be.

Thank you again for the assistance I'll post again as soon as the gears arrive.

Well the gears are here and installed, hope this was the issue as i dont know where else to go find a problem. So the mc was used all this time i just had to go do more regular visits than usual.

Hoperl I'll be able to give you all the feedback of my progress by latest Tuesday (just giving them time to use the mc and see if it was the gears).

The reason it took so long was that I missed some of the gears when placing the order and had to order again.

                    Have a great weekend.
