If the copier reboots after CPU 2 update, then your CPU board is done. The only way is to replace it.

We have the same problem with 3 C250i after updateing "power control cpu1" or "power control cpu2"
all three where from first generation, that one where you have a solid stop button with a red dot at the back from the panel. the newer one have a button with a hole in it (you can clearly distiguish it by the ring pattern on your fingertips after holdig the button when you initialize a FW update )

Do anyone know what power control CPU1 and CPU2 do?
For what they are intended?
Assuming from the name, the control the voltages for the cpu.

I searched throug KIKU and found, that KM changed something on the voltages applied to the CPU to get rid of an C5372 error in energy save mode. And that you have to update "power control cpu2" for this to apply.

From this, i think i am right with my asumption.

Could it be, that KM changed the CPU like the storage board within production, and that older cpu board don't work well with lower voltages?.

I tried the procedure but when I updated the cpu2 and rebooted the machine started to reboot continuously without being able to do anything else

Unzip the attached file, copy the Reset tool to an empty USB memory (formatted FAT 32) and start the machine while pressing the STOP button (back the control panel).
It will show "Data initialization complete" then install the latest F.W.

CPU1, CPU2, Boot Rom Firmware Update Procedure

#### Preparation:
1. Remove the STRGB (storage module) from the device.
2. Connect it to a PC directly or via an NVMe adapter.
3. Delete all existing partitions from the device where the STRGB was taken.
4. Disconnect the STRGB from the PC and install it into the target MFP.
5. Download the latest firmware (current version: FW AA7N0Y0-F231-GC2-RF).
6. Copy the FW0020 folder (containing the firmware) to the root of a FAT32-formatted USB drive.
7. Insert the USB drive into the USB-A port on the side of the device.

#### Entering Firmware Update Mode:
8. Power on the MFP in firmware update mode:
- Before turning on the 220V power, press and hold the STOP button (located on the back of the display under a small cover).

#### Flashing Process (CPU1, CPU2, Boot ROM):
After the device boots from the USB drive:

9. Select [Machine Type Select] in the Firmware Update menu.

[Start] → [Reset] → [Stop] → [Stop] → [Reset] → [Start], then tap [OK].

12. Choose CPU1 → START and wait for the update.
13. Reboot the device after completion.
14. Repeat steps 8, 9, and 10 to re-enter firmware mode.

17. Reboot the device after completion.
18. Repeat steps 8, 9, and 10 again.
19. Select [Boot Rom].
20. Tap [Start] to update the Boot ROM.

22. Install the latest firmware.
23. Reboot the device after flashing.

#### Final Steps:
- After booting, the MFP will display a [Recovery Data] error → Press [Yes].
- Once recovery completes, the system will prompt a restart.
