I'll have the machine in the shop tomorrow. Hopefully I can bring it back to life.

I'll try the reset software once I get the machine in the shop.

Which firmware was on that machine before?
When it is to low, there can be update-problems.
We update older versions to version G20-M1, then to the latest firmware-version.

Customer was having intermittent printing issues. I haven't updated the firmware on this machine. I installed FW_A61F0Y0-F000-GDS-M1.
All the files installed and the print button was blue. I turned it off removed the flash drive and started up. Now it gets to one shark fin reboots and reboots. I tried to install a different firmware and it won't get past the first shark fin before rebooting. What happened? and is it fixable without having to replace circuit boards.
Not sure about a single fin, pretty sure it jumps from none to 2. The second is very light compared to the first, but either way...

Looking at the boot-up troubleshooting guide (attached) it looks like it could be something as simple as the extra stick of RAM has gone bad if there is one installed. Take a peak at the flow chart and it might give you an idea of where to start looking.

Not sure. I can check later.

              Thanks. I'll look at it.
