Re: 654e jams with no jam code, forces reboot
User tmmdmmm was correct! And thank you all for your help.
I actually got very lucky today. When I went to print out the Management List, as instructed, the machine went haywire and flashed repeatedly to close a door. If you look close at the video you can see it's telling me to close the duplex door.
And sure enough, the door sensor was caked in paper dust. Cleaned it up and presto.

Re: 654e jams with no jam code, forces reboot
Good to know and thanks for following up. This is one I will "try" and put into my old brains memory bank. I still have around 10 of this model I service so might just go ahead and clean that duplex sensor when there for something else.
If you didn't already you may want to give tmmdmmm a positive Rep Power point. click on star at bottom of his post.Comment

Door Open - YouTube Sorry it's in portrait mode!If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
