    BH-C-280, manual feed lift table

In all the years these BH-C-280/360 series being around, I never had an issue with the manual feed table lifting. Now I have one where the table goes up and immediately falls back into the down position. Could imagine a sticky patch in SD1 responsible for this.

According to the manual, I have to remove the right vertical door, (yikes.....) to come to the solenoid SD1 and cam thingy. Do you guys have a workaround to make the procedure easier and less troublesome, please?

Sounds more like the motor is too weak or the gears are broken?
Does it work normally if you help it lifting up and hold it until the motor moves it down again?

Good question. Didn't try that yet, but sometimes it works without a problem. Most of the time, the customer put only one sheet on the manual feed table. When I tried it with the test mode, having 50 sheets on it, it worked flawless.

Got from the beginning here that "Sticky Patch" feeling........

The only thing that I've seen is the post at the front or rear breaking on that lift plate. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Either we have the same customer or this is one of the biggest coincidences so far becuase i got a call an hour ago:
Same Machine, same problem. Like actually the same. Sporadic manual feed lifting problems.
Customer reported abnormal noise, but its quiet so not too sure if its normal and he never heard it or if it might be a dying motor rn

Thanks! That's exactly I was afraid of........

The guy has more trouble cutting a new patch than removing that whole door itself, LOL
              But I'm grateful, seeing this.

Was going to say, I just removed a C360 door for the first time a couple weeks ago, and it really wasn't all that hard to get off. I was expecting it to be a lot worse than it was.

Hans, if your customer called today that the problem went away i have to say that we must have the same customer... Although we live and work at the other side of the country...

Fixed my customer byreplacing the gears doing the lifting
