    I don't think so, if I'm right the bit value should be 01100000 , found on YouTube, one guy did it. Question is if I can just switch it from 3 to 7 and not 3 to 4, then 5 and then 7. I wouldn't want to mess up something, if its safe to just switch from 3 to 7 then I will do it today

        ive only had to change the hex, the bit values change as you adjust the hex and hit fix.
        i havent changed bits since the Di series.

        Click [Bit Assignment], and select SW bit number using the arrow keys, and input 0 or 1
        using the 10-Key Pad.
        (For setting by hexadecimal numbers, click [HEX Assignment], and input using the 1-
        Key Pad or A to F keys.)
        We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...

            Changing either the Bit Switch of the Hex will change the other at the same time. It's possible that it might to show the change in the other until you hit the FIX button. It is safe to jump right from Function V3 to Function V7, there is no need to step it up one at a time.

                Well it did it, I'm on fucntion version 7 now. Out of curiosity I got to ask, there is an auto update setting requiring a proxy and a username plus password, was wondering if thats to connect her to the official Konoca Update server or if its your own company one where there are updates for the machine stored, will have a look and see if scan to email know works
