    C224 Wifi Driver bug?

Hello gents, my C224 flashed to E model has returned from official service finally duplexing works (Hooray!) Recently been having problems with her printing while she's in sleep mode. The blue lights flash, I can hear rollers running and its as if she's processing the task but nothing happens, eventually after like 30 seconds the rollers stop and the huming...which I suspect is itself warming up...stops, The screen does wake up if I press a button, says "warming up" and after that she's ready, today was the first time that even after being woken up thrsame blue lights just kept flashing, rollers rolling and...nothing. I tried to print via the automatic default print engine, I will try to delete and add her up again tomorrow. I should mention she's connected to one of those wifi receivers, it works normally when she's awake, even if I send it on my main wifi, she's on the Version 3. Could this just be a driver issue or is something starting to happen with her ?. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, I will also try to print directly from pagescope tomorrow as it seems to like the C224 model more than the new BS app Konica Minolta made.

Turn off sleep mode. We turn off all "4" series because of issues waking up. First you need to "permit" sleep mode to be turned off in service mode than turn off in admin mode.

Honestly I'm wondering if this is not due to that "System Error" She got before she got to service, it happened when she was sleeping, same thing it didn't print, then went to sleep and I just heard something similar to a bang, I thought something blew up lol

Stop with the nonsense! Just turn off the sleep mode and see how it goes. If that don't work put the old "girl" to rest!

May I ask you what is firmware version, also latest function version is 7 I believe (hex 60).

Apologies for the late reply but I thought I fixed it, the firmware is Version 3, it happened again today same situation the blue lights are blinking, I did check the "job list" and it was blank so she was "thinking" but didn't receive any information. I believe as I said its most likely my phone being too new or the wifi extender for some reason doesn't send all the data across. I did try to print from Windows when she was asleep for a day and it went flawlessly. No issues, infact I believe I never had any issues when I printed from the web browser or through any app on Windows 11, even when she was asleep for a week or two. Blue lights flashed for a sec, warmed up and printed. With android this is like the 6th time she was "thinking" but didn't receive any data. I'm eventually just going to route a long Ethernet cable to her, probably will solve all of this.

You are supposed to run certain combination/level of firmware, function version and drivers/apps version otherwise strange situations may happen.

So I got to ask straight up, since she is the normal C224 flashed to become the E model and is currently on Firmware Version 3 can I just update it to Version 5 and then 7? if thats the case I will start a new thread and maybe someone might send me the necessary files. I'm suprised the official service didn't update the FW, I thought that was due to Version 3 being the highest this machine can handle.

If you have already installed the version up firmware to make the non-E into the equivalent of an E, then you should be running it at the latest Function Version. Software Switch 25 (in service mode) needs to be set to HEX 60, which will bring you to Function Version 7.
