Hello,

One C300i has 30K prints, it showed C2255 error code,
checked CYM developing unit rotation OK, developing unit motor rotation OK,
opened and closed front door and that code displayed immediately,
would be faulty developing unit driving motor or control board?

How do you know that everything you say is ok? What tests did you carry out for it?

Check developing unit and toner hopper.
I had a C308 with C2557 on 1k prints. A piece of metal was stucked between gears on K hopper.

Might be a defective developing unit Y.

How do you know that everything you say is ok? What tests did you carry out for it?

I removed CYM developing units and turned gears manually, drove smooth.
After that I removed M21 and turned it, OK, installed it and turned again with drive section, no problem.
