[Misc] Konica Minolta C454e Black Image

    Konica Minolta C454e Black Image

Transfer Belt and Transfer Roller is full of toner. After cleaning it works for couple of hours. But got the problem again.

If manually rotate the belt, it is cleaning well.

    Kindly advise.

    Thanks a lot

Have you tried another K drum?

Is the transfer belt cleaning unit packed with toner? The waste toner chute can get clogged on the "4" series and back up into TB cleaning unit. Usually you will hear loud chatter noise from gears binding.

If there are image voids, it's either the laser or the image processing board.

If there are no image voids it's primary charge loss.

We won't be able to tell that from your scan, since the scanner creates it's own image voids. =^..^=

        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

Not an expert on this but it sounds like your waste auger is not moving or driving if you have found its not clogged already. If I read your post properly check the waste auger drive.

Don't rotate the belt I assume the waste has a gear that hits something to drive it. whatever it meshes with.

Please ignore my previous comment. If prints are black then BC and tech51 had some excellent advices for you.

You are Right. It was waste auger that was not driving properly. Fixed the issue.

                    Thanks a lot

Thanks for following up. From your OP it was obvious had something to do with waste toner not moving. It's usually something simple on the 4 series with print quality and very rare boards, print heads, etc that are bad.
