I know this procedure.
The password has been changed and no other combination work
Default on the this model is 9272x2
Are you sure display is working correctly those are known to fail. Make sure pressing 9,2,7 is doing what it should.
This is Lexmark machine basically in KM body so I don't know any kung-fu fancy reset working.

Try this
Model: bizhub 4050
Code: Service Mode Password Lock Out
Note:Print configuration page to backup system settings this procedure it won't wipe off any network settings or address book. Utility > User Settings > Printer Settings > Print Report > Configuration Page > Print
After you printed the configuration page perform the following: 1. Touch Utility 2. Touch Administrator settings and login with default password 12345678. 3. Touch Security Settings > Security Details Settings > Initialize > Restore System 4. Machine will reboot

On real KM machine resetting service password through admin settings will never gonna work (I hope).

NOTE• Access attempts to the Service Mode with a CE password is limited to up to 3 times. If the number of invalid access attempts reaches three, your access is locked. Until access lock is released, the Service Mode is not accessible. To release access lock, turning OFF/ON the power switch and rebooting the machine is necessary. (When the machine is rebooted, the invalid access attempts count is cleared.)For the procedure to release the access lock, see “I.4.1.3 Procedure for releasing access lock.” • The service code entered is displayed as “ * ”.

Question
How to unlock CE password when multiple invalid attempts have been made?
Answer
Perform the steps below.
1. Select Counter
2. Select Keypad
3. Press Stop ->0->9->3->1->7 (You will not see the screen change) Note: Wait a MINIMUM of 5 minutes
4. Power off the Machine, wait 10 seconds and turn the machine back on
Note: You will now be able to use the default (92729272) password to access Service Mode
This is procedure for releasing access .... Not for reset CE Password .... I need a tool or a secret code to reset CE Password ...
I never tested it but on this model I never heard of reset tool and really doubt reset code from LMS will work too.
