    C360i with Finisher FS539 and two Fax-Kits

    Dear colleagues,

we have two faxkits installed a C360i with FS 539.
Is there any setting, so that the machine will print out the recieved fax-pages of the two fax cards (and therefore faxnumbers)
on two different (of the three) output bins?
I've found nothing, no setting possibility.

    Thank you.

Sorry can't help but maybe someone else will have the solution. I searched Kon/Min dealer site and didn't see anything. Would make sense that you could have the dual faxes exit to different output trays. Perhaps a soft switch setting? Now a days most of my customers don't use fax and if they do it's through their computer. And even more rare for dual fax kits installed. Think last time I had a customer with dual fax was a Biz 223

Admin/System/output settings/output tray..If adding the 2nd fax does not give you a 2nd option for output tray than no joy. You could forward both faxes to different locations (email or SMB). E

typically dual fax is for sending and receiving at the same time i was always told, not 2 senders and 2 receivers.
i could be wrong but it think it makes the most sense.

Had a customer that added 4 fax lines to his MFP but never added the additional copper fax lines. Told me I had to figure it out or the machine was going in the street. He had 1 line in a splitter into 2 splitters and each line was plugged into lines 1-4. He could not see how it would not work and when he said he would not pay for the additional lines I told him I would help him push it into the street. I could never get over his inability to understand that once the line was in use, no other calls could come in and any other line that went active would not hear a dial tone. It was going to cost him another $75/ month for the 3 additional lines, and as a doctor's office sending prescriptions to pharmacies this was out of his budget..

as a highly experienced tech i refer all "dumb as a bag of hammers" customers to their salesman for not grasping simple basic logic.
let the person who was paid a commission to sell it explain why they sold multiple fax units without multiple POTS lines.
unless you are the salesman and the shame rests solely on you im afraid.

whats just as bad is having a fax line with call waiting. the beep when another call comes in f%$ks up the signal.

I had this exact conversation with two customers in the same building, that were splitting the cost of the machine. Enduser #1 complained that enduser #2 was sending fax on the line he was paying for, and he wanted it to stop!

After about an hour of research I told them that there will only ever be one sender line (settable only in the service mode). That's it. You can choose which fax card, but it will only be from a single sender line. Both lines can receive faxes, but that never really affects phone line costs, since the sender is paying for the call. That description wasn't received well, and I listened to a lot of whining from the salesman, but it never changed the facts. There is a simple way to browse to the senders TTI information, so the sender can specify their own sender phone number in the TTI.

LOL! I had a rental car company with 6 bizhubs all sharing the same single fax line. They complained that the fax in the shop office received all the faxes (maybe it was set to answer in one ring?). And when they tried to send, odds were not very good that the line was open. Fax machines are very DUMB machines. The sender has no idea if the line is available/open. It's like that drunk party guest that talks over everybody else in the room, and never listens. So most of the transmissions would not complete before being interrupted by another sender. They were just not getting that 6 faxes requires 6 phone lines. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Good point but would still make sense if the TX report would exit to a different output tray then incoming RX's? But when does making sense happen with Kon/Min.....

Correct, should of been more clear, I believe you can set reports to print from any tray and exit to any output tray so they don't mix with RX's
