    KM 2070 Cleaning the printer

    Hi
We have KM-2070. The printer has become very dirty lately. In my opinion, the drum does not output spent toner. The spent toner gets on the corona wire. Please see the photo:

Why does the spent toner not get into the container? How do you clean the printer? Compressed air or compressor?
    Sorry for my English

Not to underestimate your talents, but the bizhub 2070 is a production print device, an probably not something that you should be disassembling if you don't know how they work.

My best advice is to hire a competent technician. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Be forewarned about the image link, script injection trojan detected... Click at your own risk I guess.

There is an image on the page, but apparently there are also other things...

Nobody sane would not push toner dust deeper into machine with compressed air or compressor.

It's too bad that people, instead of helping, make fun of you. I'm not a master, I'm not an engineer, I really don't know how to fix the problem. It is worth considering where I live and where I come from - where I live is not a specialized master, I have to do everything myself. Don't be toxic. Remember that there are people who know what you don't know, so you should never laugh at someone else's misfortune. Peace to all

            I was really being kind.

It will probably cost you an additional $500 to fix the things that you accidentally break, then have to call somebody else.
For your own good, don't do this. =^..^=

Cat is correct..the 2070 is pretty old, you probably have past life drums, developer, developer units, leaking seals ect ect. If you vacuum and blow a sensor you could be out many $$$ of dollars.

If i may, this site is made for and primarily serves professional techs.
when customers are some of us folks only source of income here, end users fixing their own equipment it takes money out of the pockets of those whom trained and trained and depend on service calls to pay their bills.
other sites like Fixya are primarily for end users.
we do try the best we can to help end users as well however, in THIS case a 2070 is a very delicate production machine and so much extra care and experience is required to service them properly without screwing the pooch.
i myself went to school, got certified and worked on PRO machines for 20 out of 25 years in this trade. if i never touch another one...(insert office space/Gary Cole voice: that'd be great)
BTW, i dont think BC was being mean, it sounded like a stern warning not to play with things especially on a Production copier. i agree with that advice unless you have the utmost confidence and all the manuals before servicing it.
an accidental wayward "fell in the machine somewhere "C" clip" could cost you thousands and a potential fire.
i think he was just looking out for you man.

                  best of luck!
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                  The medication helps though...
