    Konica C257i reviews

    Hi all

Just thought I'd raise the question on the C257i series...

Has anyone got these in the field and be able to let me know your honest opinion on them? Are they reliable etc?

I have experience with the C227 series and thought they were OK apart from the noisy duplex!

    TIA

We don't have the C257i in the U.S. If they are the same as the i-series we are getting in the U.S. then you are in for a lot of trouble. KM has really went down hill in quality with these units. We are having boards go bad all the time plus toner sub-hoppers in the machines are defective and when you ordered new ones they are also defective. attached is the kb article.

I have few of these in the field, no problems so far.
By the first look it is the almost same as C227 just smaller control panel.

The C227 control panel was already really small, if the i-version is even smaller... Yikes!

We have a few and panel is so ridiculous 😃
Seems like cheaper version of C250i which is already flawed in quality.
But I kinda like C250i because I'm stubborn and wise as a rock 😂
No way to like C257i but we don't have much experience with them.

Actually, i gave false information, display is the same, 7 inch like at C227, just checked datasheet.
For me it seemed smaller because of I series menu style in comparasion with 7 series which i like more.
I install few C257i some time ago and had no other intervention and my brain becomes little slugish about details

Didn't even notice until you said something. Never thought I'd see that day. Thanks!
