c458,558,658 developing units work without problem in c258,308...if you adapt them what prevents them from being able to fit in their location.

In a bit of a pickle. We have a C368 that needs the magenta dev unit replaced yesterday.. Don’t have a DV313M, but we do have a DV512M.

I know it will fit if we swap the plate on the bottom of the dev, but will it work without issue?

Would anyone else have done this before??

      Thanks

I do not have direct experience on this, but I did read about a week ago, from another poster how the DV512 was making really crappy copies in his C368 only a few days later. Search out this thread.

EDIT: It was a C360, see here:
      Bizhub c360

I suspect that it's a bad risk to try it.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

do u have DV313Y? could use that then run ton of copies until the yellow vanishes. id suggest vac out magenta hopper and waiting for low TCR error (to get as much of the yellow depleted) before reinstalling the Magenta toner

FYI, Katun do a DV unit, that fits the C454e and the C258, and their toner is compatible with both models too, so I see no reason why you shouldn't use the DV512 in place of the DV313

I was thinking exactly the same line. Thanks for confirming this.

And There are many UNIVERAL compatible toners available in the market. They work with 4 and 8 series.
