[Misc] C368 HD: animations and RAID

A bizhub C368 HD failure has left me with two questions:

    (1) I don't have the C368 animations. Could someone help me with that?

    (2) Below HD-A, the C368 has an empty slot for HD-B, an option used for RAID-1 mirroring -- so that in event of a HD failure, there would be no need to rebuild that drive with animations or User Boxes backups (which are rarely up-to-date anyway). The KM option for this is HD-524, which seems to apply to all 8-series bizhubs -- but only the 8-series. So, in trying to decide how much value there would be in that option, I wonder why it was not continued in the 0i-series. Pursuing this question, I was surprised to find that getting detailed information (like: does the HD-524 include the cables?) was like pulling teeth. Is the RAID option just not worth much? Does anyone use it?

I would be grateful for any help on either of these questions.

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

The backup is only as good as the last date it was backed up..I have searched the KM site and can only find a 1 TB HDD sub, nothing for adding a 2nd HDD..The C368 had the HD-524 option and the associated settings in State confirmaiton page 2. None of these settings are available on the I series. E

Do you still need the animation firmware?

Thanks! - I was suspecting that. I'll just forget about the RAID option - as KM apparently have done.

Yes, that's what I found when I checked, too: apparently the 8-series RAID option never made enough sense to continue.

Thanks for asking. Someone did PM to offer it with a dropbox user/password, but I'm clueless enough that I don't know how to use dropbox that way, so had to ask him for clarification, and I don't have an answer yet on that.

Yes, it turns out that I do still need the movie data file, having unexpected difficulty coordinating with the contributor who first offered. I appreciate your offer.
