Recently visited customers C227 responding to jamming in fuser. Middle picker finger missing, so moved 4th picker finger into centre, re-installed fuser, started machine, then got error code 31. No paper anywhere to cause error. Anyone able to help?

Have you tried rebooting ? you can also try going into service mode and see if it is registering a jam code , while in service mode go to system 2 and set jam code to display, that way you wont have to log in to service mode to see jam code machine is registering.
Really to need to know jam code to see which sensor is registering the jam. but chances are you either bent a pin when plugging fuser back in or knocked something out of place since it wasn't doing this before you pulled fuser. -

Double check that the horizontal unit (small plug on the back left) is plugged completely into the standing finisher.Comment
