Hi all, very interesting one. I myself didn't attend it was other tech's, 3x of them so far... I'm expecting to go there next week, I'm in a different city...
MC: Develop Ineo+ 759 Problem started: all of a sudden (supposedly)
Machine prints original other PDFs/word docs etc fine, no issue. Internal charts etc fine no issue. Scans from machine viewed on the computers, no issue. Problem arises when the machine PRINTS scanned documents ONLY from other C759's and also itself from the same office. There are 5x of these C759's in this office and only this machine has this issue.. Text and graphics are illegible and look like they are all highlighted in black.
Work done so far apparently:
Compare settings lists from other C759's in office and set the same, no change
Firmware (more than one version), no change
Clear all data and format, no change
Replace MFPB, no change
Replace HDD, no change
Try all combinations of different scan settings and try and compare, no change
Try all different drivers etc, no change
Try different computers, apps etc, no change
Try same documents on scanned to usb and print directly, no change
It actually works fine other than this, no other issue other than printing scanned documents, and only from C759's including itself... LOL
Test print a scan from a C364e and works.... Test print a scan from a HP MFP and works....
I have tried to replicate an issue with all forms of setting changes in our office here and none have produced images even remotely like this.
Original documents like above I have successfully printed on a C360i, C368 and C754e with no issue, all perfect, no issues.
Must surely be a setting issue that can only be resolved with resetting/replacing nvram? I thought the nvram initialization tool stopped working kike the 8 series after a certain version? I'm not familiar so much with this model only the C360i/C658/C454e etc. I had suggested the coordinator got the field tech to change the software switch that converts it to a KM so it resets a lot of the background settings then try to see the result if any change and use km driver. Any feedback appreciated on this one!
