[Dead] Product not Enabled in IC-308

We purchased a C1100 with IC-308. IC-308 was without the HDD. We added a 1TB one and formatted it with version 2.1. We tried with version 1.1, but it didn't boot for formatting.


After completing formatting 2.1 it shows the message "Product not Enabled".

In the Device Center field I found these two items available for activation.

I honestly don't know where the error is. We have already used this system in other controllers.

if there is a dongle and a video card installed on the fiery then yes you have the graphic arts package.
if you dont plan on using impose try removing the dongle and reboot.

you need the right windows 7 disk from EFI.

EFI FORUM

post your issue and they will send you disks.

you should also FORMAT C: with a old XP boot disk or make a USB boot disk to format so the linx installers can see the hard drives.
thats why your not booting now. Not sure if you have correct disks.

Hello. Thanks for responding. This IC-308 (FS150) Win7 controller arrived here at the company without the HDD. There is no dongle connected to the server.There is a label on the back of the controller with Win7.
The phrase "Product is not enabled" appears on the Fiery system.
The error is not in Windows. It is on the Fiery system.

Good afternoon. I reinstalled the system on another HDD/SSD formatted through the command prompt. The system version 1.1 really does not complete. The 2.1 system completes, but displays the error "Product not Enabled". Here in Brazil, no C1100 model with a Fiery controller was sold, hence the difficulty in support. Any tip will be welcome. Thanks.

it sounds like it has the FACI kit.
i think it should print without activating the software no?

It looks like you had it enabled when you were working. It arrived here without the HDD. It has the option to enable it, but it should work without it. According to the EFI documentation, the LAC appears to have been removed along with the HDD. I have no interest in activating the service. I just want to print.

if there is a video card in the PCI-E slot, when hooked to monitor it shows windows and you can login, you have the FACI kit.
thats why it looks for the activation dongle.
its been a while but i believe thats the case.

The installed version is 2.1
