    MINOLTA C224e (restart problem)

    greeting,

I'm trying to get rid of the C224e that occurs every 3-4 seconds. restart.
I tried to upgrade the SSD firmware (A5C10Y0-F000-G00-A9-04--SSD-FW-Ver6.03m) but it fails to load.
I will stick to the topic from 2019.

please if someone can send me the firmware C224e_C284e_C364e_A5C10Y0-F000-G00-G9.exe so I can try it maybe I will succeed.

    thank you in advance

If its rebooting every 3 4 seconds firmware will not help yet. You will need new ssd bd. Because of the quick reboot it does not give time to load boot file

remove ssd and try unplug hhd. if it does not reboot you found the cause. with ssd removed you should only see the op panel startup screen.

              Hello,
              thats a good idea!

              In addition:

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I remember that you also have to DISABLE HDD and reboot machine in case HDD is disconnected/removed. Else machine will run into an error in any case.

              Regards,
              Ro

                Greeting,
I just installed a new SSD but it asks for SSD-FW-Ver 6.06m which I don't have, so please if someone could send it to me to solve the problem.
                thank you.

New SSD would require a firmware update. Did you install it?
