Error code C-E301 on C454e

Dear all I get above error code in my KM machine,
I Tried HDD format
reset but didn't able to fix the issue yet

Current FW ASC10Y0-1E00-G00-04

Can anyone advice me about issue and how to sort it out ?

Do a "logical" format on the hard drive & update firmware

The back-up battery needs to be checked for discharge.

I did HDD physical format and Logical format
also run self diagnosis yet it is still there

I have FW_A5C10Y0-F000-GDU-M1 Firmware which i got from online friend

Will it okay to update current machine ?

Thank you for the quick response How can I check HDD for bad ? Can I check HDD by connecting to PC ?

I have FW_A5C10Y0-F000-GDU-M1 firmware will it okay to update with that as well ?

yes ok to update just find out the function version.
as far as a PC you can use disk manager and delete all the partitions and create 1 partition but DO NOT FORMAT IT!!!!!
put it back in the copier and see if it boots up and we can go from there.

Please can anybody advice me regarding what function level is M1 firmware ? quick guide on how to install G20-M1 FW will much appreciate as I'm new to firmware install
