logical is enough as an SSD is not made from physical disks so a physical format would only decrease the life of the cells.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

eMMC failure happened to us too, just once, but also on a C458 (C-FA14)

Its just a backup memory board with Serials, Meters and licences etc.

In our case we got a brand new eMMC.
Procedure was to Boot by Firmware, then set Machine Type first, then continue with Firmware reloading.
When you reboot after, you will eventually get the Recover data option on screen.

      That should be it.
If you're on a new HDD you will need Movie and other Data files to reload though...
This is the fix for this c-fa14 error change the emmc.

I replaced 4 new hdd and it didn't work.

      That's just how it worked

In the future, for this error C-FA14 for Bizhub c458, I will directly replace the emmc, without wasting time looking for solutions.

      Thanks for the help.

Try starting the machine with the HDD disconnected.

What firmware version did you update to ?

I've never had to replace a battery on any KM, but I would have suggested a physical format of the drive, through the service mode. I've used all kinds of used drives that I buy for cheap online, and never have a problem with them unless I try to skip doing a physical format. Never had that code that it was the EMMC board, but that's just been my experience.

You are lucky. We have spare boards for many models that have good batteries. We swap those in the field to make it easy (no soldering). When the board comes back we swap the battery and put it on the shelf to replace the board that went out the door.

I used this firmware version A79J0Y0-F000-GG7-W5

I also tried with the hdd disabled, in a few minutes it enters the C-FA14 code

That's the only way I managed to fix it by replacing the EMMC.

But colleagues who will have this problem can try with HDD, I'm not saying it doesn't work, but it didn't work for me on 4 devices.

The same HDD remained on the device.
These are the errors I received on one of the devices.
