Konica minolta c224e nova baterija

greetings servicemen,


so far I have replaced three batteries on minolt c224 devices and after each replacement the counters go to 0. (after I put a new battery I reset it with A145FW-Reset)
that doesn't suit me at all since the machines are leased and the initial counter is in the contract.
have any idea what I'm doing wrong.

Why use reset fw if you dont want to clear counters?

Hm.. good question,
I read somewhere that this is the procedure when replacing the battery.
I haven't tried without a reset.

in enhanced service mode you can choose restore data (if button is avail)
that will get your meters back usually

does the option apply only before the reset or does it give the option after the reset as well ?

Are you soldering in new battery before removing old?

My experience has been once battery is dead all the counts are lost and most of the time Non-recoverable.

We had it once when machine lost some random numbers from color and black counters. Go figure.
