    biz 501 drum

I replaced drum and blade in the machine (drum compatible not Genuin) following the proper procedure. Image is ok but Customer wants to be a little lighter not so dark. What programs to execute ?

LD1 & LD2 adjustments adjust so the shading blocks are just barely visible between the target area.
    evenly for both 1 & 2.
make sure the drum counter was cleared too.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

ID sensor error appeared. Also indeed copies are lighter now but it does not copy grey color. Any suggestion?

i have been very fortunate to never have to use aftermarket supplies unless it was an emergency and we returned with genuine once it shipped. also 9/10 times drum and developer were always changes at the same time and with OEM so i dont know any tricks that werent in the service manual.

was this one of the models you had to adjust the charge grid voltage to whats stamped on the back cap of the drum? its been a while since ive played with dinosaurs

          Sidetracking here a little bit.

I can't recall about voltage printed on the drum for the 501 model either, but I know the likes of the 600/750 601/751 did have the voltage printed on them. We had tried some generic drums for that model briefly, and the funny part was, every single one of those generic drums had the exact same voltage printed on them. My best guess is they picked a number somewhere in the middle and just printed it on every one they made.
