    BIZHUB 920

Have a 920 when copying or printing 11x17 sort mode it throws some of the sheets to the floor. Kind of flying towards the rear of the finisher as it comes out. Also when copying/printing 8.5x11 non-staple face up every other copy will be off from the rest of the stack. I have replace the finisher exit and conveyance motor, the shifting assy, FNS CB and have re-adjusted the exit drive belt tension. Any suggestions?

.Sounds like you have offset sorting turned on. Go to your finishing options and turn it off

Did the FNS exit replacement include the sponge rollers?

If I recall, the exit assembly gets you the top half only. As mentioned, replace the sponge rollers and follow the solenoid adjustments in the book. They are critical, touchy, and make a huge difference in the way that the paper exits the finisher. Also, the small toothed belt and drive pulley at the exit can slip and it has no tension adjustment. Just replace if it is slipping.

The rollers were replaced but never played with the solenoid. Thanks I will give it a shot.

The solenoid actually has 2 adjustments and they are in the copier service manual adjustments section. Funny that they are not in the finisher service manual.
