    Bizhub C552 with C3722 code

    I have a new C552 with C3722 code. I can reset the code, but it comes back. I monitored the fuser temps in Service Mode, the temps are all over the place on Edge,Center and NC sensors. Don't see break down for fuser unit in parts guide. I would hate to have to replace brand new fuser.Any other suggestions? DC Trouble

      Yes, for a while meaning a day. I thought about it some more. It could also be a bad connection between fuser and PRCB. Still open to other ideas.

        there are three ir sensors on the copier frame. try tradeing their positions around. i think the one on the back side of frame is only used when the other 2 fail. redundant thermal protection.(remove fuser and you will see plastic bracket they are mounted in)

          Yes it should be one or more of these sensors.

            there is special firmware for this 59 spec and also solved in 88
            <Workaround>
            Change the setting time of Low Power Mode setting as longer than the time of Seep Mode settings.
            Administrator Settings -> System Settings -> Power Save Settings
            -Default settings
            Low Power Mode Settings: 15 min. Sleep Mode Settings: 30 min.
            -Workaround (For example)
            Low Power Mode Settings: 35 min. Sleep Mode Settings: 30 min.
            -Note
            Sleep ON/OFF Choice under Service Mode has to be set [Prohibit] as default settings.
            System1 -> Sleep ON/OFF Choice: Prohibit
            <Countermeasure>
            -Temporary measure
